2025-Sept-29 I have posted the first approx. 15 drawings of the 1960 series.  These are tutorials on theory and practice of electrocardiogram interpretation.  They are in jpg form for now.  But later after the internet links to videos, research articles, etc. have been added when conversion of the drawings to png format. I am thinking to use PowerPoint for more sophisticated images, etc. I will just have to see where evolution takes me.

What you see above is exactly what you will see in the Sidney R. Arbeit book. What I saw as possible was taking the work in these "obsolete" books and adding the world of internet to them, 65 years later. 

I set this goal about 4 years ago. It is the same process as painting a landscape or putting together a jigsaw puzzle. 

I have made all files downloadable. I am hoping that some young people in so called "developing countries" will copy the original material and expand it for medical techs, nursing, etc. When I use DeepSeek for writing up more technical material on these subjects, I have them translate into Spanish techncial subjects and colloquial and idiom expression that might be difficult for a Spanish speaking student to comprehend.  DeepSeek is free and designed as a TEACHING TOOL and DeepSeek has been great in giving me ideas and things to consider.  They are the ones who offered the suggestion of the name, The-Cardiac-Engine.net  as we were discussing some issues regarding the cardiac memberane and the transit of specific charged ions, such as Ca, thru the membrane and got somewhat diverted into analogies with some electrical engineering and physics concepts.  At any rate, even in explaining Maxwell's four equations in electromagnetic theory - DeepSeek did a better job by a long long shot (amount) than any of my professors did in my final year at UT Engineering.

The purpose of the inital DRAFT schematic you see is to demonstrate that NOW you can click on the area of the rectangular box, be it blue, red, etc., and UP WILL COME the contents of the hypersonic link which you had just clicked on. Now with this test a success - it means that at approximately 350 pages of the schematics - those subject you see along the Ishikawa decision diagrams can be fully shown visually and audio such as a youtube tutorial. 

Sure its easy to see NOW how it is done. But did you do it yourself yesterday or a month ago?  And yes the process is obvious now (if you are familiar with this technoology). I think someone with a lot of ECW cardiology experience, such as a cardiology nurse - could take-up what has been done and turn it into a super useful training device to significantly enhance and speed up the training necessary to correctly read the wave patters on the ECG - such as the EMT on emergency call. And if you have a mind to visualize what lies just beyond the horizon, to see what can be done with this approach (The Cardiac Engine) to teaching students new to a complex subject - not yet savvy to the intricancies involved - then you can see how much more efficient; and more attractive; and more enjoyable, i.e., the learning proccess and very much less costly than the current and cumbersome methods thrust down the throats of the various states by the past-tense Dept. of Education and its Common Core idiocy (may they all rest in torment forever more.)

Purpose of this website, The-Cardiac-Engine.net is to facilitate the learning of an aspect in medicine, the heart (Cardiology) as it pertains to the electrocardiogram (ECG). I have NO training in medicine whatsoever. It really does not interest me beyong the ECG.But when starting to have palpatations and heart racing, about five years ago I decided to begin studying the heart to the level of my capacity.

What actually interested me was the electrocardiogram, ECG, and how it worked. My degree is in electrical engineering, BSEE, from University of Tennessee, 4-1974.My focus was communcations sysems and electronics - the standard stuff. I started off with a background in some electronics as I did have an advance class FCC HAM radio operator license (WB4-SLO) and I had gone to state vocational school to learn how to fix radio and TV. When I say State Vocational I am not referring to a state reformatory school where they teach radio and TV, car mechanics, etc.(if they actually do so anymore) to reorient your thinking, at least hoping to do that. It was the Memphis Area Vocational Technical School (Trade school) that I attended.

The scope of this work is limited to arrhythmia of the heart ( Read Google AI Overview ) which is {arrhythmia problems} sufficient by itself for a lifetime of study and research.

But the "trouble-shooting flow diagrams" do not provide a quick way for the medical techncian, emergency ambulance tech. or the individual person wanting to get an idea how his or her heart is performing.

A six lead ECG hand held device will give a person a remarkable amount of information - and assesment of his (generic 'his' and any pronoun you want) cardiac (heart system). For example, the KardiaMobile 6L Max is a 6 lead personal EKG (also called ECG, ie., electrocardiogram device) and now, July 2025 it cost $169. I bought my first one of these in 2022 for about $120.

Kadia's sale pitch says Detects AFib & Irregular Arrhythmias | Easy Results in 30 Seconds. That's their pitch and it is true. And just knowing that you have an AFIB condition should warn you go see a physician, or the doctor's nurse/nurse practicioner or his physician assistant. Because if AFIB or Irregular Arrhythmias or Ventricular Tachyhcardia (which is potentially very serious and life-threatning)or other serious heart conditions which you may have but be unaware of the fact - the heart abnormality could lead to serious heart damage and even death.

If you are satisfied just to know that you have a heart related medical condition and will be satisfied to hand over the repairs and treatment to, well functionally hand your cardiovascular problems, treatment and repairs to a medical repair man (generic man, the medicine man)there is nothing wrong with that attitude, that approach to life. These schematics are the original diagrams from the 1975 publication. I am working now on the 1960 series to make them fully compatable with the world of the internet. This is an educational project to learn about reading electrocardiograms in a much quicker but more thorough manner - becauswe rote learning is out - discovery is in. And AI is the greatest discovery since moveable type. It will change the world in a positive way - assuming that the world does not first destroy itself.
